Following the 2008 Plan, the designated green belt in the area of Titan Cementara Kosjeric has gradually been developed ever since. There have been 400 conifer and deciduous trees planted within the zone of roads and above solid fuel and slag landfill. The afforestation initiative came from Sales and Purchasing departments in collaboration with the colleagues from Mechanical Maintenance Department  having been supported by Cementara volunteers.

The afforestation of the plant surroundings has become more significant by engaging community activists who took part in the eventual volunteering action held on November 3, 2012. The thorough activity was followed by working as well as entertaining and sports events. Other than Cementara management staff, the Mayor and Vice-President together with local authority representatives, sports clubs, Folk dance Association “Maksim Markovic” and mountaineering society “Subjel” participated in this venue.

The interested visitors were taken for a short plant tour and got familiar with cement production processing. Our product is to be produced in the vicinity of the scots pines, omorika, European alder, silver maple, which is the prerequisite for our firm option to be entirely indulged in health of people and their environment preservation.
