For My Kosjeric contest, organized by our company, enables realization of the ideas that improve life quality in Kosjeric and presents a long-term stimulus to citizens and organizations to engage and provide own contribution for better life conditions in local community. There were 23 projects that applied in four application areas: culture, environment, education and social care, which is significantly more than in the last year contest. The jury, comprising the company and local community representatives, had a difficult task.

Following the agreed criteria the members of the jury chose nine best projects. In the field of culture, they praised the ideas of “Vekovnik – Your Future’s Keeper” by Elementary School “Mito Igumnovic” and “BUM 31260 #3” by non-governmental organization Ko.AKTIVA. Regarding environmental projects, Ko.AKTIVA’s “ECO Kosjeric” and “Eco-jungle with health trail” by Kindergarten “Olga Grbic” were voted the best.

“The Kids Mountaineering Camp” by Mountaineering Association “Subjel”, “Kosjeric Science Camp” by NGO Ko.AKTIVA and “Improving the Honey Flora” by local “Miladin Zaric Miso” Beekeepers Association are the ideas that promote the education in the best manner, while, in the area of social care, jury voted for “We are Among You” by Association for Cerebral and Children Palsy and “Day Center for Elders” by Association of Retirees.

The total amount Titan Cementara Kosjeric will provide for funding of the awarded projects exceeds € 20,000. The prizes will be awarded on the event on March 24, 2014.
