At TITAN, we continuously launch and enhance ambitious initiatives and implement long-term projects that contribute to decarbonization, the circular economy, sustainable construction, biodiversity protection, water reuse, and air quality. From carbon capture technologies and the production of cement with reduced clinker content, to the use of alternative cementitious materials and low-carbon fuels, as well as renewable energy sources and the provision of sustainable solutions to our customers – these efforts represent a key factor in accelerating the transition toward a more sustainable future.

Our colleagues have each shared one habit they practice at home or at work to reduce their impact on their surroundings and the environment.

🔸 Aleksandar Petrović (Automation Engineer): I use energy rationally, switch off devices when they are not needed, and try to reduce unnecessary resource consumption.

🔸 Katarina Eror (Head of Process Testing): I plan sample preparation efficiently, while also encouraging my team to adopt sustainable practices such as recycling and minimizing printing. In this way, we reduce the consumption of chemicals, materials, and energy.

🔸 Vladimir Trifunović (Environmental Engineer): I do not leave devices or lights on when they are not needed.

🔸 Sanja Mitrović-Ljubičić (Executive Assistant): I regularly collect and separate plastic packaging and small plastic items from everyday use, which I donate to the “Čep za hendikep” association for recycling. In this way, I reduce waste, contribute to environmental protection, and at the same time support humanitarian activities.

🔸 Pavle Ljubičić (Health and Safety Engineer): I care for the environment by separating hazardous waste from municipal waste, recycling, and participating in river and city clean-up actions wherever needed.

🔸 Mirko Gligorijević (Electrical Maintenance Planner): I repair old devices, extending their lifespan while simultaneously reducing waste generation.
